How does it work?

A whitening gel is placed in a thin bleaching tray that fits over your teeth. As the active ingredient in the gel is broken down, oxygen enters the enamel and dentin and bleaches the colored substances. The structures of the tooth is not changed, but the tooth color is made lighter.

Custom made trays with a gel can be worn in a day from as little as 1-1.5 hours with results typically seen after 5 to 14 days.
